On the afternoon of March 9, at an online meeting with the Ministry of Education and Training on the plan for high school graduation exam and university and college admission in 2022. The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a Circular amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation on high school graduation exams issued together with Circular No. 15/2020/TT-BGDDT dated May 26, 2020 of the Minister of Education and Training.
According to the circular, in order to consider the recognition of high school graduation, high school students must take 4 exams, including 3 independent tests, namely Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Languages, and 1 combined exam chosen by the candidate.
Students of continuing education take 3 exams, including 2 independent tests, namely Mathematics and Literature and 1 combined exam chosen by the candidate. Continuing education candidates can register to take an additional foreign language test to get admission results.
Those who already have a high school diploma or an intermediate diploma who take exams to obtain results as a basis for enrollment registration may register to take part in independent exams, combined tests or components of the exam. combination exam.
Regarding the exam conditions, those who have completed the high school program in the year the exam is held must ensure that they are assessed in grade 12 with average or above graded behavior and their academic performance is not classified as poor. Particularly for learners who are not subject to a conduct rating and those who are self-directed learners in continuing education programs, the conduct rating is not required.
Those who have completed the high school program but have not taken the exam for high school graduation or have taken the exam but have not graduated from high school in previous years: must have a junior high school diploma and must ensure that they are assessed in grade 12 with a conduct rating from average or higher and the academic performance is not classified as poor;
If you are ineligible to take the exam in previous years due to poor academic performance in grade 12, you must register and take the year-end exam for some subjects with an average score of less than 5 points (at high schools). The Circular also amends and supplements a number of contents related to the suspension of exams. Accordingly, the test is suspended for candidates who commit one of the following errors:

Bringing illegal items into the exam room/waiting room or when moving between the exam room and the waiting room;
Take the exam questions out of the exam room or receive the solutions from outside into the exam room;

Acts of aggression, threatens those responsible during the exam or threatens other candidates;
Failure to comply with the instructions of the supervisor or the lounge manager while traveling within the test area and during the time in the waiting room;
The examination officer shall make a record, collect the material evidences (if any) and report it to the head of the test site to decide on the form of examination suspension. If the head of the test scores does not agree, then report it to the head of the examination committee for decision.
Candidates who are suspended from the exam must submit their papers, exam papers, and scratch paper to the examiner, must leave the examination room immediately after a decision is made, and may only leave the examination area when the exam time is up.
Candidates who are suspended from taking the exam in a given year will have their results for all exams/subjects canceled for that year.
